New spheres

Recently I've begun a new grouping of "spheres" paintings, a theme and technique that has interested me for many years. I now have a number of color variations, and it's interesting to see how the uniformity of pattern brings the different mood of each color to the fore. For example, the yellow is so bright and cheerful; the white on brown is ghostly and mysterious; the red is striking and dangerous. I'm enjoying making these, so ... more to come ... (All are acrylic and fabric on canvas, 30 inches square.)
